Dermatologist at Hickory Veterinary Hospital

We are please to announce that Kevin Byrne, DVM, MS, DACVC  - Board Certified Veterinary Dermatologist - will be seeing dermatology appointments every other Thursday at Pennsylvania Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Associates at Hickory Veterinary Hospital, starting May 19, 2011.   Allergy season is here! Board Certified Veterinary Dentist

John R. Lewis, VMD, FAVD, DAVDC - Board Certified Veterinary Dentist and Oral Surgeon - is now available for severe or complex dental cases.   Dr. Lewis recently performed a root canal on a dog whose tooth was injured in an accident.

Dental Suite

Our new Dental Suite, complete with 2 wet tables, digital dental radiology equipment, ultra-sonic dental scalers and heated cages allows us to perform dental cleanings and extractions in one centralized area with state of the art equipment.

Oncology Resident

Amy Koterbay BVMS, will be returning to Hickory Veterinary Hospital as an Oncology Resident in the fall of 2011, after completing the first 2 years of her oncology residency at Michigan State University.
