Pennsylvania Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Associates at Hickory Veterinary Hospital is dedicated to providing your pet with advanced surgical procedures such as soft tissue, orthopedic, and neurosurgery. The surgical team strives to provide a compassionate, team-oriented approach to caring for our patients. Intense monitoring and care during their surgical procedure and recovery is provided. Our advanced patient care and monitoring includes pulse oximetry, blood pressure measurement, CO2 monitoring and electrocardiogram to provide the very best for your pet. Oxygen therapy, blood product and transfusion therapy, IV fluid therapy, and pain management are just a sampling of the support your pet may receive.
We work closely with your veterinarian to ensure that you and your pet receive the best possible care, effective treatment and follow-up. Your veterinarian always receives a detailed referral report of your pet’s visit.
