Dr. Alena DeNardo is a second-generation veterinarian and a recent graduate from Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Growing up in the Philadelphia area, she achieved her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Delaware. And, while she enjoyed her taste of Southern living during her four years of veterinary school at Auburn (War Eagle!), she is ecstatic to be practicing back in her hometown!
Much of her life has been spent surrounded by animals and immersed in the veterinary field, so she is dedicated to providing great care for all companion animals. Prior to veterinary school, she spent many hours in the surgical operating room as an assistant which blossomed a love for all things surgery related. Besides surgery, her other
professional interests include preventative medicine and radiology.
She currently lives with her fiancé and their very energetic (but lovable) Jack Russel Terrier, Dart. In her free time, she can be found creating art, reading, or watching tv/movies.
