Meet Our Skilled Veterinarians

William Kay, Jr., is a third generation veterinarian and son of Dr. Nancy Brown, the clinics previous owner, and grandson of the clinics founder, Dr. William Brown. He joined his father, William Kay, Sr. in pursuing the specialty of neurology.

Dr. Tiffany Kay is co-owner of Hickory Veterinary and Specialty Hospital. Originally she grew up in Vandling, PA, a small town just north of Scranton.

Dr. Laurie Bergman is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed an undergraduate degree in Biology at Barnard College, Columbia University. After graduating from veterinary school Dr.

Stacy Santoro Binstock is a New Jersey native. She completed her undergraduate degree in animal science at Rutgers University and earned her DVM from Iowa State University in 2002. Following veterinary school, Dr.

Kevin Byrne is board certified by the American College of Veterinary Dermatology, which is the only institution whose members are recognized by the American Veterinary Medical Association as veterinary dermatology specialists.

Dr. Joanna Cronquist is a 2016 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. She is very interested in all aspects of medicine and surgery and plans to pursue a residency in behavior after spending a few years in general and emergency medicine.

Stephanie Dobbins has been part of the surgical team at Hickory Veterinary and Specialty Hospital since June of 1995. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 1994 after completing her B.S.

Originally from Baltimore, Jonathan received his undergraduate degree in biology from Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Geis grew up outside of Philadelphia in Bucks County, PA. He went to Gettysburg College for undergraduate and graduated veterinary school at Virginia Tech in 2013. He completed a rotating internship at Garden State Veterinary Specialists in 2014.

Dr. Melissa Goodman is a 1979 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Molecular Biology with a minor in French, and a 1983 graduate of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Goodwin specializes in Interventional Cardiology Services, including implantation of pacemakers, closing abnormal vessels with self-expanding devices, angiography to visualize vascular defects, and balloon valvuloplasty to open narrowed vessels in the body.

Dr. Guth grew up in the Mt. Airy neighborhood of Philadelphia with her dog, Sheba, and a parade of cats and a couple of horses along the way. She studied English Literature and Biology at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo.

Born and raised in Connecticut, Dr. Cecelia Helenski attended the University of Rhode Island in the pre-veterinary program in the department of Agriculture and Animal Science. She graduated with her B.S.

Dr. Sean Kent grew up in Chester Springs, PA with his 3 siblings and numerous dogs, cats, horses and donkeys which is where his love for animals began. Dr.

Seth Koch, was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, educated in Binghamton, NY for undergraduate studies and received his degree in veterinary medicine in 1965 from the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Caroline Kozar grew up in the Philadelphia suburbs and completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware. She graduated from St. George's University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016, located on the beautiful island of Grenada.

Dr. Mecca grew up in Jessup, PA, a small town outside of Scranton. Prior to veterinary school, she attended Brown University for her bachelors and master’s degrees. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2022.

Dr. George Motley is a Pennsylvania boy at heart. He was born in Landsdale, PA. He obtained his undergraduate degree at Penn State University where he graduated from the University Scholars Program with honors in Film and Video.

Dr. Jaclyn O’Pella grew up in the Philadelphia area and currently resides in Roxborough. She studied chemistry at Haverford College and graduated in 2004. She then worked at a pharmaceutical company for several years while earning her MPH at Thomas Jefferson University.

Maria Pansulla grew up in Scotch Plains, New Jersey with her two siblings and their dogs. She attended college at Northeastern University in Boston, MA and graduated with a degree in Health Science. She then received her V.M.D.

Dr. Dhara Patel is a native of Bucks County and has recently made her way back to Newtown, which she calls home. She attended the University of Pittsburgh where she studied both psychology and chemistry. In pursuit of her degree in veterinary medicine, she moved to the island of St.

Dr. Gary Puglia is board certified in Emergency and Critical Care, and has been leading emergency departments for busy referral hospitals since 2011 after completing his residency at Tufts University College of Veterinary Medicine.

Jennifer Reetz is originally from Easton, Pennsylvania. She received her undergraduate degree from Penn State University in 1993 and then proceeded to the University of Tennessee to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1997.

Dr. Stephanie Rosenheck is a board certified veterinary surgeon who has lived on the east coast, midwest, and west coast throughout her schooling before finally settling back in New Jersey for her internship and residency in small animal surgery at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in Tinton Falls.

Dr. Saverino is a Diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College (AVDC).

Dr. Aurora Stottler grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, and attended college at Stanford University, and graduated with a degree in Biology. She then attended UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Lindsey Wachsman is originally from Petaluma, California and the origins of her veterinary career began working at a family member’s dairy farm in high school.
