Emergency Clinician

Dr. Caroline Kozar grew up in the Philadelphia suburbs and completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware. She graduated from St. George's University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016, located on the beautiful island of Grenada. It was there that she enjoyed community medicine and education. Post graduation, Dr. Kozar completed a 1 year rotating internship in Brooklyn, NY before going into general practice.

After several years, she was looking for a change and jumped back into emergency medicine, where she has been for the past three years in both NJ and PA. Dr. Kozar is excited to join the team at Hickory, where she will be close to home where she resides with her husband and 9 month old son. Dr. Kozar prides herself on client communication and enjoys helping pet owners understand their pet's diagnosis and treatment plan. Her professional interests include wound management and autoimmune diseases.
